One of my favorite hymns is an old one that's not in our hymnal anymore. The first verse describes an opportunity for hospitality.
The final two lines are repeated at the end of each verse. They're inspiring and easy to sing, but always make me ask the question, “How do I make them real in my life?”Thou didst leave Thy throne and Thy kingly crown
when Thou camest to earth for me.
But in Bethlehem's home, there was found no room
for Thy holy nativity.Oh come to my heart Lord Jesus
There is room in my heart for Thee.
